Terms of Service
Last updated: April 11, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Vox website at vox.varmada.com and the Vox desktop application (collectively, the “Service”), provided by Varmada(“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Vox is a product of Varmada. These Terms supplement the Varmada Terms of Service, which also apply to your use of the Service. In the event of a conflict, the Varmada Terms of Service govern. By using Vox, you agree to both these Terms and the Varmada Terms of Service.
1. License to Use
When you purchase Vox, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Vox desktop application on up to three (3) machines simultaneously. This is a one-time purchase — there are no recurring fees.
You may not redistribute, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or decompile the Vox application, except where required by applicable law.
2. Account & Activation
Each license key is tied to your purchase and may be activated on up to three machines. You can deactivate a machine at any time to free up an activation slot. You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential. If you believe your key has been compromised, contact us immediately.
3. Payments & Refunds
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are displayed in USD and are inclusive of the license fee only — applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
If you are unsatisfied with Vox, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting support@mail.varmada.com. Refunds are issued at our discretion.
4. Privacy & Data
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Vox processes speech-to-text entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any audio or transcription data.
5. Intellectual Property
Vox, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Varmada. Your purchase grants a license to use the software — it does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share, resell, or publicly distribute your license key
- Attempt to circumvent license activation or validation
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that speech recognition will be error-free or that the Service will be uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Varmada shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your Vox license.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Vox application ceases. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Contact
